Strictly Come Dancing had an episode air on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at 6:15pm. Series 24, Episode 3 titled "Week 2" was broadcast on BBC One.

The ballroom doors reopen for fifteen couples as Emma, Josh and Jojo usher them into the second round. Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke return to the panel to dissect the performances. This week marks a procedural shift. The public vote opens for the first time. Judges' scores from the previous two weeks are aggregated and combined with the audience's tally. The resulting mathematics determines the fate of the bottom two couples, who will face each other in a dance-off on the next show. The stakes are no longer just about a single night's feedback; they are about survival across a fortnight.

It's the first live show of 2026, and the full Strictly cast take to the floor for an incredible opening performance. Emma, Josh and Jojo welcome our 15 couples back to the ballroom as they prepare to perform for the very first time. While there's no public vote or elimination this week, there will still be plenty of paddle action as Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke award the first set of scores. Those will be carried over to week 2, when viewers will have their first opportunity to vote for their favourites. For now, our couples can enjoy their dance floor debut safe in the knowledge that they'll be back for more.
